Still not a good game, though fuck Mystic Quest. This track is fucking metal. It takes everything good about the game's battle theme and turns it up to eleven, like a boss theme should. I would like to now rectify that statement by saying, no, this track is probably one of the only good things to come out of the game, because in comparison, the main battle theme is nothing to the game's boss battle theme.
I claimed that the main battle theme of Mystic Quest was probably one of the only good things to come out of the game. On my last list, I made a error in judgement. Number Seven: Battle 2 (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest) Basically, I have a lot of the same thoughts about it as I did the Final Fantasy III main battle theme. Got a good beat to it, it's very dynamic, memorable enough for me to hum along, it's good. Honestly.I don't really have a whole lot to say about this one. I guess Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II just don't compare. Don't worry, there's not as many this time.Īgain, only NES track on this list. Oh, yeah, forgot to warn you: much like the first list, be prepared for the unoriginal naming convention of "Battle 2".
Number Eight: Battle 2 (Final Fantasy III) Still a massive improvement to the original arrangement, though. It has presence, sure, but Final Fantasy X can and does do so much better with other battle themes, and in terms of boss themes, Enemy Assault doesn't stack up compared to the rest of the Final Fantasy series. However.I have to say that the main boss theme is probably the weakest battle theme in the game. On top of that, it doesn't lose the original's intensity and still has that threatening, ominous feel to it. I love the pronounced percussion in this version that's the punch I was looking for. Don't get me wrong ominous can work, but it didn't in the original version of Enemy Assault. The original track was too ominous with not enough punch. Unpopular opinion: I like the HD rearrangement of this song better than the original. Number Nine: Enemy Assault (Final Fantasy X HD) Unfortunately, this track ends up at the bottom of the list as, while it fits the game thematically and I adore its tone, it's not dynamic enough to stick out to the rest of the Final Fantasy boss themes and not something I find myself humming along to in the heat of the moment. The result ends up sounding like something out of an action scene from a 70s spy chick film, almost "Charlie's Angles"-esque, and let's be real, Final Fantasy X-2 is very "Charlie's Angels"-esque. This theme does an amazing job of capturing both the unique elements of the game and the intense elements needed for a boss theme. However, this is still a boss battle theme, which calls for certain amount of weight. Final Fantasy X-2 was a very.different game in the series, and the soundtrack was definitely reflective of that. Composition wise, I really like the tone of this track. Again, I.don't remember liking this game's soundtrack so much, but I guess that's what's going back and listening again is for. Starting this list off is Final Fantasy X-2. My Top Ten Favorite Final Fantasy Boss Battle Themes! Now with that out of the way, let's take a look at. The same rules as my previous list apply: my opinion, regular boss battle themes only, and no remixes. So let's see how the boss battle themes of Final Fantasy chalk up. These aren't just skirmishes against dire wolves or goblin rogues these are battles against ogre kings or giant dragons! The music's gotta reflect that change in weight. These battles are the real threats, the tests to see if you're good enough to continue the journey. Boss Battle themes, however, become an entirely different ballpark. You're going to be hearing them a lot with every random encounter, so they're gonna have to be good. Außerdem sind die Songs aus dem Film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV ebenfalls vorhanden.Alright, Final Fantasy Boss Battle themes! Battle themes need to weighted, but catchy thematic, but entertaining.
